Worcester is the county seat and a city in the Worcester County in the state of Massachusetts. The city is named after Worcester, England. This is the second largest city n the New England area with its population count of 181,045. The city is nicknamed the ‘Heart of the Commonwealth,’ since the city is located in Central Massachusetts. The city’s official symbol is a heart patterned after its nickname.

The Tuckerman Hall, which was designed by Josephine Wright Chapman, one of the first women architects in the country, is also based in the city of Worcester. This hall is home to the Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra. The city is also home to the DCU Center arena. This site hosts many large concerts, conventions, and exhibitions in the city.
