The city of Pompano Beach is located in the U.S. state of Florida. Geographically, the city is found within the borders of the Broward County. It sits along the Atlantic Ocean coast, which is on the north side of the Fort Lauderdale. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city of Pompano Beach has a total population of 100, 024 as of the year 2010. In 2012, the estimated population reached 102, 984. Pompano Beach is also part of the greater Miami Metropolitan area, which houses a total of 5, 564, 635, as reported by the 2010 Census.
