Cloud Computing Terms

Cloudburst (positive and negative)

both aptly refer to a spike in a services demand. A negative burst refers to a failure of a cloud computing system due to the lack of ability to handle a ‘burst’ in demand. A positive burst refers to the deployment of an application running internally on a public cloud designated to address a spike in demand.
